This summer (2014), I learned how to race Rhodes 19 sailboats at the Sandy Bay Yacht Club in Rockport, MA. I had a blast.

This short video goes over some common terms and maneuvers used when racing Rhodes 19 sailboats.

Terms and maneuvers in this video include:
– Starting the race,
– Tacking,
– Starboard Tack,
– Port Tack,
– Jibing,
– Rounding the mark,
– Wing-on-wing, and,
– Flying the spinnaker.
